Twenty six species of Anthidiini (Hymenoptera: Megachilidae) belonging to the genera Anthidiellum (1 species), Anthidium (13 species), Eoanthidium (2 species), Icteranthidium (6 species), Pseudoanthidium (2 species), Rhodanthidium (1 species) and Stelis (1 species) are recorded from northern Iran. Of these, a new species, Anthidium (Anthidium) akanthurum sp. nov., is described and illustrated and five species are recorded for the first time from Iran. Information on host plants, distribution and an updated list of Iranian Anthidiini fauna are provided. Key words: Anthidiini, bee, fauna, new species, Iran.
