The Gran Finale is in Monza 43 drivers at the Monza Eni Circuit for the last ACI Racing Weekend of the season Rome, October 16th, 2019 – The two series, Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA and Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, are at their ending point for this 2019 season. Both series already have a crowned Champion: Frederik Vesti (Prema Powerteam) won the Formula Regional with the annexed 25 points for the FIA Superlicence – the maximum among all the equivalent classes – while Dennis Hauger (Van Amersfoort Racing) reached the title in the Italian F4. Beside that, there’s still a lot to fight for this weekend. In Formula Regional the battle for the final podium involves Enzo Fittipaldi (Prema Powerteam) who is protecting his position from David Schumacher (US Racing), fiercely attacking reassured by his growing performances during the last period. In the Italian F4 the battle for the podium is between two Prema Powerteam drivers: Gianluca Petecof, currently in second position, and Paul Aron. Aron is also the leader of the Rookies, followed by Edgar Jonny (Jenzer Motorsport) and Joshua Duersken (BWT Muecke Motorsport). There is also a winner to be decided in the team standings, with Van Amersfoort Racing currently leading with only 10 pt advantage on the Italian Prema Powerteam. New faces in both series, with new drivers arriving until the very last appointment. The Brazilian Josè Muggiati (Cram Motorsport) and the Guatemalan Ian Rodriguez (DRZ Benelli) are debuting in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth; while Nico Kari (KIC Motorsport) and Andreas Estner (Van Amersfoort Racing) are at their first appearance in the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA. A great weekend, also improved in the show level by the exhibition of the vintage Formula 1 and Formula 2 cars, driven in a lap of honour by Roberto Farneti, owner and former Scuderia Everest driver, and the former F1 driver Bruno Giacomelli, who debuted in Formula 1 with McClaren at the Italian GP. The Friday free practices will start from 8:30, while in the afternoon, starting from 16:25, the qualifying practices will be held; Saturday it will be dedicated to race 1, at 13:25 for Formula Regional and at 14:20 for Italian F4; Sunday race 2 (Formula Regional at 9:25 and Italian F4 at 10:20) and race 3 (Formula Regional at 15:30 and Italian F4 at 16:30). The three races will be aired live on Motorsport.tv (in Italian and English), AutomotoTV, and in live streaming on Acisport.it and on the Facebook pages of the Championships.
