College Care Packages Currently 180 Rainier Scholars attend 60 colleges and universities around the country . Volunteering to purchase and assemble college student care packages is a helpful way to support a scholar on the pathway to college graduation. Each year, Rainier Scholars sends care packages to our college students whether they are attending a local school or living across the country or with this year’s case, at home. How it Works: College Care ackages Contact Alli Wan, Office Manager/Program Assisstant. The deadline to sign up is Friday, October 9, 2020. Let us know if you’d like to be matched with one or more scholars. We will provide a short bio and photo of your scholar(s). Pick up a medium-sized USPS flat rate box (11 1/4" x 8 3/4" x 6”) from your local post office. Fill your care packages with items a college student would appreciate. Make sure to include a handwritten note in each package. Return your care packages UNSEALED to the Rainier Scholars office by week of November 2, 2020 (drop off hours/details to follow).
