NovaCast Limited Unit 8 Lancaster Park Bowerhill Melksham SN12 6TT United Kingdom QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN Our engineering department currently has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician. The Quality Assurance Technician will work under the ISO: 9001:2015 Quality Programme and will be responsible for the following: Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance Overseeing all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards Inspecting final output reports and comparing properties to requirements Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures Control of non-conformance register and implement corrective actions after consulting with colleagues Control of Key Performance Indications (KPI) for the supply chain Monitoring of the gauges register and ensuring calibration of equipment The successful candidate will report directly to the Design Engineer and collaborate with design/ purchasing teams, as well as liaising with suppliers and clients. This position will suit an individual with previous experience of the current ISO: 9001:2015 accreditation programme with the ability to maintain it to the UKAS level. The successful applicant will follow with NovaCast’s company policies regarding international trade which may not be required under the current ISO: 9001:2015 umbrella.
