We need your support to hold our legislators accountable. Your donations help guarantee that the voices of local, grassroots Arkansans are heard. Your donations help us engage more Arkansans in the political process. We will send thousands of alerts and fact sheets in the coming months, hold town hall forums, make thousands of phone calls and more. This legislative directory is downloaded and printed thousands of times per session. Your support helps us watchdog the legislature. We sift through the thousands of bills that will be filedthroughout the session. We attend the committee hearings and monitor the process. We educate the public about how they can make a difference to protect our rights and values. You have a whole team of experienced staff and volunteers behind you when you are part of the Citizens First Congress. We simply cannot do it without you. Our power to make a difference comes from people just like you making their voices heard across the state. That’s what makes change happen. Otherwise the special interests control the process. Please give today at www.arpanel.org or send a check to Arkansas Public Policy Panel, 1308 West Second Street, Little Rock, AR 72205. THANK YOU! 3 The Arkansas Citizens First Congress is a multi-issue and non-partisan coalition of organizations who work together for progressive change in state policy. Coalition members come from all corners of the state and work on many different issues. At the Arkansas Legislature, the coalition members advocate together on a common agenda. They also watchdog the legislature and advocate against threats to progressive policy. The Arkansas Public Policy Panel advances social and economic justice through respect for human dignity, diversity, empowerment and an inclusive, fair and transparent political process. The Panel provides hands-on experience in civic participation by helping community groups organize, create infrastructure, set goals and develop action plans to reach those goals.
