Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “782D TEST SQUADRON” in Yellow letters. SIGNIFICANCE: Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The emblem represents the unit’s mission—to provision the warfighter. The dart/arrowhead and crossed swords represent the warrior’s determination to defend our country. The starred rainbow is symbolic of the convergence of full-spectrum exploitation of the battle-space so the enemy has no refuge from the warfighter. The rainbow’s red represents boldness and courage in battle. The orange represents the strength of arms the unit provides the warriors. The green stands for the technological supremacy the Squadron provides to meet the Air Force’s needs. The stars represent the awesome power the unit provides the warfighter to strike America’s adversaries.
