Annual Report 2016-17 This format outlines the annual reports to be published by all colleges in the Madhya Pradesh on their websites, by October 31st of each year. Part I is intended as a guide and colleges are free to alter the contents and format as they see fit. Part II, the Appendix (Institutional Performance Data and Financial Reports), is mandatory and colleges are required to report all data as per the attached format and instructions. The Principal’s Report (2 pages)- Highlights the key activities, events, and successes of the past year and briefly describes major new initiatives to be undertaken over the next year. Govt. Vijyaraje Scindhiya College Bhander Distt. Datia, (M.P.) was established in 1966. Since as a private college and was taken over by the government on dated 09-08-1983. Though the college is situated at Tahsil place bhander of district Datia. However it 30 KM. From Datia an 50 KM from Jhansi Bhander is rural place of Datia District the percentage of girls students is higher then the boys students in this College. 2. Overview (1 page) (i) Vision, Mission and Objectives of the college The vision and mission of the college is to motivate the students for higher education. It aims to function as a centre of academic excellence, to achieve excellence results in the examination to help students in development their personality by drawing out their talents and they may be able to face the challenges of life and competitive world. (ii) Brief introduction of the college (including the status (Govt. / Lead/ Constituent/ Affiliated/ Private),Parent University,UGC recognition, CPE status, etc), location & campus area The college is Government College and was governed by MP Government. The College is Affiliated to Jiwaji University Gwalior. College has UGC recognition under 2 (f) & 12 (B). College Situated in front of Krishi Upaj Mandi Bhander Though the SSR of the college has deposited however NAAC of the college is not accreditated so far. (iii) History of the college with significant milestones Baba Balram Das donated more then 2 acres of land to this college now this college is situated on this donated land The college was established in 1966 to cater the need of higher education in backward and remote area, since then it is delivering its duties very well i.e. expansion of Higher education it is proved by the growing number of students. The College is a Co- education centre of higher education in the District. In the light of such condition the self study report is deposited however it has not be been accreditated so far.
