Directions to Stoney Creek Inn (101 18 th St., Moline, IL 61265, 309-743-0101) On I-80 from the west: Take the I-74 East exit (exit 298); Immediately after crossing the Mississippi River (about 6 miles), take the River Drive exit (exit 1); Turn left on River Drive and proceed to 18 th Street (about 3 blocks); Turn right on 18 th Street. The hotel will be 2 blocks ahead on your left. On I-80 from the east: At the I-80/74/280 junction, continue ahead. You will now be on I-74/280 West; Take I-74 when it separates from I-280 (exit 5A); Take the 7 th Avenue exit (exit 2) and stay to the left on the exit ramp; Turn left on 7 th Avenue and almost immediately turn right on 19 th Street; Turn left on 2 nd Avenue and right on 18 th Street. The hotel will be on your left. On I-74 from the south/east: Follow the above directions. You will need to turn at the I-74/80/280 intersection in order to stay on I-74 West. On I-88 from the east: At the I-80 intersection, I-88 becomes Illinois 5/92. Stay on 92 West and go through Silvis and East Moline (about 10 miles); in Moline, 92 will be 4 th Avenue; Turn right on 19 th Street; Turn left on 2 nd Avenue and right on 18 th Street. The hotel will be on your left. On US 67 from the south: At the first stoplight after the Illinois 94 intersection, turn right on the Rock Island-Milan Parkway (County Road 78E); After crossing the Rock River, merge onto Illinois 5 East (John Deere Road); After about 2 ½ miles, take the I-74 West exit; Take the 7 th Avenue exit (exit 2) and stay to the left on the exit ramp; Turn left on 7 th Avenue and almost immediately turn right on 19 th Street; Turn left on 2 nd Avenue and right on 18 th Street. Drive approximately 2.5 miles (north) on 38th Street . At 7 th Avenue turn left and then right into the Centennial Hall parking lot (“E”). Interstate 88 from the east: Continue on 88 West as it changes to Highway 5. Travel Highway 5 West ( John Deere Road/Blackhawk Road ). Follow signs for Blackhawk Road/Highway 5 West. Turn right on 38th Street in Rock Island. Warning: There is a 38th Street in Moline but do not turn there! Use Rock Valley Plaza and K-Mart store on left-hand side of Highway 5 as landmarks. Drive approximately 2.5 miles (north) on 38th Street. At 7 th Avenue turn left and then right into the Centennial Hall parking lot (“E”). 2 Interstate 80 from the west: Exit 290 onto Interstate 280 East. Cross the Mississippi River and Exit Highway 92 East to Rock Island . Take the 31st Avenue Exit. Turn right onto 31st Avenue. Continue to 38th Street and turn left. Drive approximately 2 miles (north) on 38th Street. At 7 th Avenue turn left and then right into the Centennial Hall parking lot (“E”). Highway 61 from the north: Follow Highway 61 South through Davenport until you reach Fourth Street (a one-way to the right). Turn right and go four blocks to Gaines Street. Turn left on Gaines Street and travel across the Centennial Bridge into Illinois. Go straight off the bridge until you reach 5th Avenue (a one-way to the left). Turn left on 5th Avenue and proceed to campus. As you approach the campus you will see the football field on your right. 5th Avenue will bend to the right just past the football field. At the first light turn right onto 7 th Avenue and then right again into the Centennial Hall parking lot (“E”). US 67 from the south: Follow 67 into Rock Island until 7 th Avenue; turn right. Continue until after 35 th Street, when you will watch for the Centennial lot on your left, right before the intersection with 38 th Street. ** From the parking lot, cross 7 th Avenue to Old Main (the building with the dome). ** If parking in the Centennial lot is congested, you can continue farther west on 7 th Avenue and turn left, then right, into the Science building lot (“D”). 3 .
