Contact Information [email protected] Biography Ding Lu graduated from Fudan University (China) in 1983 with a bachelor degree and a master’s degree in 1986. He received a PhD degree in economics from Northwestern University (USA) in 1991. Before joining ShanghaiTech University, he had been a tenured professor at the University of the Fraser Valley, Canada, since 2008 and a tenured professor at Sophia University in Tokyo in 2005-2008. His academic career also consists of affiliations with National University of Singapore (1992-2005) and University of Nebraska at Omaha (1991-92). He served as President of the Chinese Economists Society (North America) in 2011-2012. Over years, he has been a special-term guest professor at Fudan University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and XiAn International University as well as a senior research fellow at East Asian Institute of Singapore.
