One Summer Changes Everything in €˜Stranger Things’ Season 3

One Summer Changes Everything in ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 03.20.2019 It's the summer of 1985 in Hawkins, Ind. Teens are wearing electric prints, visiting the Starcourt Mall, working new summer jobs, and celebrating the Fourth of July. But naturally, in a town that was once infiltrated by supernatural monsters, things can never be normal for long. Netflix dropped the trailer and first-look images for the highly-anticipated third season of Stranger Things, the series that follows Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Max (Sadie Sink) and Will (Noah Schnapp) as they experience strange incidents happening in their small town. RELATED: 'Stranger Things' Goes to the Mall for Season 3 The trailer opens on a comedic note as Dustin returns home from summer camp, only to be terrified by his group of friends. The Demogorgon-fighting gang still remains close after all that's occurred, yet they're growing up, going through changes, and discovering new interests. But we soon see that no amount of change will let them escape the terrifying creatures from the Upside Down. "We're not kids anymore," Mike says. "I mean what did you think, we're just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?" The spot also shows other characters getting accustomed to "normal life." We see Jim Hopper giving the dating world a shot, Billy Hargrove luring women as a lifeguard at the local pool, and Nancy and Jonathan potentially exploring a future in journalism. Season three premieres July 4 on Netflix. RELATED: 'Stranger Things' Returns to the Upside Down with a Bang.
