NASHVILLE REPERTORY THEATRE PRESENTS AUGUST 23, 2020 7:00 PM BROADWAYBRUNCH.ORG A NOTE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Welcome to Broadway Brunch…. At Night! If this were a normal year, it would be a sunny Spring morning. We would be gathered together in person, sipping mimosas, listening to some of Nashville’s finest performers, and enjoying each other’s company. But, of course, this year is different. If this year has reminded us of anything, it is how much we need the arts, how much they add to our quality of life. We’ve learned this year what life is like without artists, actors, musicians, dancers, designers, and writers and we need to work harder than ever to ensure that the arts are there on the other side of this. So this year’s virtual Broadway Brunch is more than just a fundraising event for Nashville Rep. Tonight is a celebration of of the performing artists of Nashville, of the mega-talented people who have made the crazy last few months a little less crazy. When you make a gift to Nashville Rep, tonight or during this week’s Week of Giving, you are saying the arts matter to you and to our community. You are helping to ensure that these artists will continue to have a home here, a theatre that is ready to welcome them and you back when the time is right. Your support is an investment in our quality of life, and it benefits all of us. Thank you so much for watching, and enjoy the show!
