In addition, the practise has undertaken work for numerous private companies both on the pre- contract stage (for Architects and civils engineers) and in the post contract stage (for D&B Contractors) 3.0 KEY PERSONNEL 3.01 Brief CV’s of the following key personnel are attached as Appendix A. These key members of staff are supplemented with other engineers experienced in Rail projects to suit the size and complexity of the project. Neil Jones – Director Alex Foreman – Director Gary Paxton – Director Dean Barker – Associate Chris Govey – CAD Manager 3.02 All of the key Designers used are be Chartered Engineers / senior members of the company. The company as well as being in the Association of Consulting Engineers are also represented with Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), the Institute of Engineer Technology (IET formerly the IEE) and the Institute of Energy. 4.0 PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE 4.01 Beveridge Associates Partnership Ltd and Staff have extensive experience of a wide range of project work schemes. Appendix B includes a full list of rail projects undertaken (which exceeds 200no). The following list gives a short list of examples: Ealing Depot London Underground Maintenance Depot Design work included LVAC design, DC traction design, Shore Supply system, lighting small power and compressed air and cable containment. BA involvement was to prepare a detailed design including working drawings. www.beveridge-associates.co.uk Page 4 of 44 Upminster Depot Maintenance shed This involved lighting, power, main distribution and earthing design. BA involvement was in a design assurance, and site supervision role. Ilford Crossrail Depot BA have been acting as the client representative fire engineer on his project which is on the critical path for the Crossrail project. Great Western Electrification project Including works to Bath, Keynsham, Oldfied Park and Chippendham Station. BA involvement was for electrical and telecommunications design. Marble Arch Station Modernisation Project involves the complete refurbishment of and existing station including the Ticket Office and Hall. BA involvement includes electrical, mechanical and fire engineering designs. www.beveridge-associates.co.uk Page 5 of 44 Shepherds Bush New Station Project involves the complete rebuilding of the station including the Ticket Office and Hall. BA involvement includes electrical, mechanical and fire engineering designs. Bank Station Design of the electrical. Mechanical, fire and Communication services for the new Walbrook (Bloomberg) entrance into Bank Station. LVAC design for signalling supplies Providing on the SSR network in 2008 (to allow for the temporary signalling solution prior to the ATC upgrade). Designs included conventional power supply solutions as well as the provision of rotary frequency converter solutions. Northern Line and Jubilee Line Upgrade Design on power supplies associated with 79no new SERs as well as a new SER and Switchroom at Neasden Depot. District Line Signal Main Upgrade Design calculations for the new 600V 125Hz rotary converter fed signal main along the eastern section of the District Line (Aldgate to East Ham). Various works at Neasden Depot Including renewal of South Ring, design of a new SER switchroom at Neasden Depot and Shed heating and lighting upgrades. www.beveridge-associates.co.uk Page 6 of 44 Design of the main electrical distribution system for the London Underground Back Up Service Control Centre at Pelham Street, South Kensington. Thameslink Tunnels Designs in relation to power supplies, tunnel lighting and fire mains for the inner area tunnels (north of Kings Cross to Blackfriars) on the Network Rail Thameslink Upgrade. Network Rail Substation upgrades Design of DNO back up supplies to signalling supplies at 6no Network Rail substation (South London and Kent). Dockland Light Railway Works to Bank DLR station including staff accommodation, lighting and congestion relief works. Network Rail Regeneration Project Works to over 100no stations and 9no Depots including East Ham, Selhurst, Hastings and Ramsgate to upgrade services. Balfour Beatty QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT 4.04 Beveridge Associates are committed to providing a high-quality service to ensure that the needs of our Client’s are met. 4.05 To achieve this aim adequate resources are allocated to every project, using only competent and suitably qualified staff. All work is checked and approved by a senior member of the Practice at relevant stages of the project. 4.06 Our aim is to adopt a quality philosophy for the whole project, from conception to completion, ensuring all decisions are correctly considered and verified. 4.07 To meet our stated Policy the Practice operates a Quality Management System which is certified to ISO 9001:2015. All personnel employed by, or working on behalf of, the Practice are required to conform to the Quality Management System. In the spirit of this Standard it is our aim to continually improve the system and service we provide. 4.08 Periodic audits are carried out to ensure the system works effectively and efficiently. 4.09 The Directors have the ultimate responsibility and authority for ensuring that the system is soundly understood, implemented and maintained in compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 and is effective at all levels in the Practice. www.beveridge-associates.co.uk Page 8 of 44 APPENDIX A CVS OF KEY PERSONNEL FOR ANTICIAPTED PROJECTS www.beveridge-associates.co.uk Page 9 of 44 NAME: Neil D Jones QUALIFICATIONS: BEng (Hons), CEng, MCIBSE, MIET, MEI EXPERIENCE: Trained as an Electrical Engineer with Troup, Bywaters and Anders. Progressed from a trainee to a full Design Engineer and gained experience in a variety of industrial, commercial and public-sector projects. In 1986 joined the London Borough of Waltham Forest as an Electrical Engineer responsible for ‘Capital’ projects. Was responsible for the design and specification of a large number of local authority projects. In 1991 took up a position with the City of London and carried out the design and specification of a wide range of projects. Gained particular experience in commercial office projects and listed buildings, as well as specialist projects such as the part refurbishment of the London Metropolitan Archives storage facility designed to meet the exacting requirements of BS5454. Joined Beveridge Associates in 1996 in the position of Associate and has since become a Director of the practice. Has undertaken work for a wide range of Clients at Beveridge Associates including the Barbican Centre, City of Westminster, The City of London, Employment Services, GlaxoSmithKline, Gartmore Investment Management, Leyton Orient F.C., London Underground Limited, London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Camden, Havering, Islington and, Lambeth, Network Rail,
