The team faced Syracuse in the quarterfinals hosted by Louisville. BIG EAST POWERHOUSES — Three Panthers earned All- Big East honors in 2005 in- cluding Gini Ullery (left) who earned second team honors and Diana Andreyko and Megan McGrane who gar- nered first team honors. Since his arrival at Pitt, he’s compiled a record of 117-65 (.556) and has a career record of 207-101. BIGGER BIG EAST — The Panthers were still able to earn recognition in an ex- panded Big East Confer- ence. Nicole Taurence (above) was named Rookie of the Week on October 3 after leading the team to wins over USF and Georgetown. REGIONAL RECOGNITION — Diana Andreyko (right) earned AVCA recognition for the second consecutive season with an All-AVCA Northeast Region honorable men- tion.
