Article 19.2(a), Article 20.2 and Article 20.3(a) ) Help The Prevalence section refers to: Article 19.2 : Parties shall cooperate with each other in exchanging information through the Conference of the Parties in accordance with Article 21 including: (a) information on the health effects of the consumption of tobacco products and exposure to tobacco smoke in accordance with Article 20.3(a) Article 20.3 : Parties recognize the importance of financial and technical assistance from international and regional intergovernmental organizations and other bodies. Each Party shall endeavour to: (a) establish progressively a national system for the epidemiological surveillance of tobacco consumption and related social, economic and health indicators; Article 20.2: The Parties shall establish, as appropriate, programmes for national, regional and global surveillance of the magnitude, patterns, determinants and consequences of tobacco consumption and exposure to tobacco smoke. Towards this end, the Parties should integrate tobacco surveillance programmes into national, regional and global health surveillance programmes so that data are comparable and can be analysed at the regional and international levels, as appropriate. Please note: in cases where data has been collected, either by a country or as part of an existing surveillance programme, copies of the data should be attached to the completed questionnaire.
