National and State Accreditation Regent University’s undergraduate school is accredited or certified by the following bodies: Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) (www.chea.org/) Commission of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) The School of Education’s educational leadership and teacher preparation programs and the College of Arts and Science’s interdisciplinary studies program are awarded TEAC accreditation by the Inquiry Brief Commission of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for a period of seven years, to 12/31/2023. The accreditation does not include individual education courses that these programs offer to P-12 educators for professional development, re-licensure, or other purposes.
