Venu filed a complaint which was received by this Commission on 31-01-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/ The Hostel Welfare Officer, Govt. SC Boys Hostel (A), Kodad Village & Mandal, Suryapet District. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the complainant herein filed an application dated 16-08-2018 before the Public Information Officer/ O/o the District Social Welfare Office, Suryapet District requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points mentioned: TSIC PTO Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required. 2 The Public Information Officer through Lr.Rc. No. B1/229/2018-19 dated 14-09-2018 transferred the application under section 6(3) of RTI Act, 2005 to the Public Information Officers/ The Hostel Welfare Officer, Govt. SC. Boys Hoste (A) & (B), Kodad Village & Mandal, Suryapet District to furnish the sought information to the complainant directly under intimation to their office. Stating that the complainant was not satisfied with the reply of the Public Information Officer, he preferred this complaint before the Commission requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. Basing on the material papers available on record, the complaint is taken on file and notices were sent to the parties concerned directing them to appear before this Commission for hearing on 03-01-2020 at Hyderabad. The case is called on 03-01-2020. The complainant is present. Sri D. Haji/ Hostel Welfare Officer /Public Information Officer/O/o Hostel Welfare Officer, Govt. SC Boys Hostel (A), Kodad Village & Mandal, Suryapet District is present. Heard both the parties and perused the records. On perusal of the material papers available in the case file, it is noticed that 6(1) application was filed by the complainant on 16-08-2018. The Public Information Officer through the affidavit submitted that part-informationTSIC was furnished to the complainant vide Lr. dated. 21-10-2018, for the remaining information the Public Information Officer sought 30 days time. However, this Commission, directs the Public Information Officer to furnish the complete information to the complainant within (7) days from the date of receipt of this order through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due under intimation to this Commission. With the above direction, the appeal is closed.
