To you God entrusted his only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man. Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen. Witaj, opiekunie Odkupiciela, i oblubieńcze Maryi Dziewicy. Tobie Bóg powierzył swojego Syna; Tobie zaufała Maryja; z Tobą Chrystus stał się człowiekiem. O święty Józefie, okaż się ojcem także i nam, i prowadź nas na drodze życia. Peregrination of the St. John Paul Centennial Triptych In honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of St. John Paul the Great, the Vatican Foun- dation which he established and which bears his name commissioned a triptych featuring his image along with two devotional aspects important in his life and pontificate: Our Blessed Mother, Mary represented by Our Lady of Czestochowa, and the Divine Mercy, represented by St. Faustina Kowalska. This triptych has been travelling around the world and, as our Pastor serves on the Administrative Board of the Foundation, we are privileged to be the first to wel- come it in the State of Ohio. Accompanied by two first class relics of St. John Paul and St. Faustyna, this triptych will be a focal point for our prayer and devotion these next days build- ing up to a festive celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday followed by two evenings of recollec- tion, one English, one Polish. Other parishes and religious institutions in our Diocese and be- yond will also be invited to host the triptych as it continues its journey of faith. Stay tuned for complete details of this upcoming spiritual program in our Parish Bulletin and do take ad- vantage of the wonderful spiritual opportunity for prayer and reflection which this triptych provides us during this holy season. Following the example of St. John Paul II, we wish to en- trust ourselves to the Mother of God along with the work of the Foundation and the Church together with the whole world which, now as never before, stands in such great need of God’s Mercy.
