OFFICIAL IT Principal Engineer (3 Posts) Location: Flexible Grade 9: £51,569 Ref No: R296/20/2 ‘Principal Engineers will be at the heart of the ICT Network and Unified Communications Infrastructure team and will play a key role in defining and delivering the best in class ICT to Police Scotland and the Scottish Police Authority’. Head of ICT Infrastructure, Glasgow Police Scotland’s ICT Department is embarking on an ambitious programme to implement a range of 'enabling' technologies in support of operational policing. In the absence of a degree level qualification, you must possess extensive demonstrable experience in a similar role alongside a current certification in relevant ICT Infrastructure technologies, e.g. Cisco CCIE, or equivalent. Additionally, you will have evidenced ability to manage end-to-end enterprise technologies for network, communication and security infrastructure services and solutions. You must be capable of communicating effectively with both a Technical and non-Technical audiences.
