Some examples could be sport, food, animals www.afccommunitytrust.org #DONlinelearning Cereal box football pitch Equipment needed: Cereal box Paper Straw x 2 Pen / paint for decorations Glue or tape How to make your pitch: With your empty Cereal Box • Cut out half the box – vertically, this will be your stadium • Add paper on base of box to create the markings of the pitch • Cut out 2 goals on either end and with excess cardboard from box, make 2 goalposts and stick onto box • Be creative, add pictures of fans, paint your stadium, add players or even sponsors • With a scrap piece of paper make a ball • Using the straws, compete with the other player to a game Try setting up a football tournament with your family and create fixtures for each match and • First player to 5 goals is the winner! record the scores www.afccommunitytrust.org #DONlinelearning Half time snack – Pancakes Before starting make sure you… - Wash your handsDonny’s Goals - Ask an adult for help when using the cooker Method: 1. Put flour, eggs milk, veg oil and pinch of salt into a bowl 2. Whisk batter until smooth 3. Using a frying pan over a medium heat carefully wipe some oil with Ingredients: kitchen roll 100g plain flour 4. When hot, ladle a spoon of batter into you pan and move it round 2 eggs until it forms a circle 300ml milk 5. When hot cook your pancakes for 1 minute of each side until 1 tablespoon veg oil golden brown Pinch of salt 6.
