THere are two different routes. One that follows the West Side, which is very scenic and one that follows the longest road in Manhattan, namely Broadway. Both routes starts at Marble Hill subway station. Marble hill is actually a neighborhood in Manhattan, but is not situated on the Island of Manhattan, but on the mainland. Broadway is the longest road on Manhattan (29 miles), but stretches further 2 miles in The Bronx and even additional 18 miles further North. A total of 49 miles or 81 km.
