Nick Waterlow was the Biennale’s most prolific artistic director. He curated the 1979, 1986 and 1988 exhibitions, and was Chair of the International Selection Committee in 2000. For 11 years (1994–2005), Nick also served on the Board of the Biennale of Sydney and his profound contribution to the Biennale is immeasurable.
