Printing was conducted by Phillips Business Forms. 1 2019 CURE BOWL MEDIA PROSPECTUS ORLANDO SPORTS FOUNDATION EVENTS STRIKE OUT BREAST CANCER AND KICKOFF RECEPTION AUGUST The Orlando Sports Foundation is celebrating a 11 years of bowling 18 for a cure. The 11th Annual Strikeout Breast Cancer presented by JA Edwards of America is set for Aug. 18 at Boardwalk Bowl. Also at the event, OSF brings together members of the community for an afternoon of food, fun and information about becoming a Cure Bowl member. KICKOFF FOR A CURE PRESIDENT’S LUNCHEON SEPT The Kickoff for a Cure President’s Luncheon is an opportunity to 13 introduce prospective members to the mission of the Orlando Sports Foundation. The featured speakers are UCF Director of Athletics Dr. Daniel J. White, UCF College of Medicine Cancer Division Head Dr. Annette Khaled and OSF president Scott Rose. RACE 2 CURE SEPT The Orlando Sports Foundation will organize its first 5K event on 15 September 15 at Fort Mellon Park. The Race 2 Cure also includes a tribute walk to remember those that have battled or are currently in the fight against cancer. 2 2019 CURE BOWL MEDIA PROSPECTUS ORLANDO SPORTS FOUNDATION EVENTS CFE CURE BOWL ALL-STARS EVENT DECEMBER Each December, high school players from around the central Florida 17 area take to the gridiron for the Addition Financial Cure Bowl All Stars game featuring players from Orange County and Seminole County. The game takes place at Showalter Field in Winter Park, Fla. The event has a 23-year history and was formerly known as the Coaches Challenge All-Stars Football Game before OSF began organizing it in 2017. WOMEN’S FOOTBALL ACADEMY SPRING The Women’s Football Academy is set for the spring. The event will be 2020 held at Bloomingdale’s in the Mall at Millennia features a champagne lunch, fashion show, pampering stations and a little pink bag of treats for each participant. CURE BOWL CUP APRIL 6 The Cure Bowl Cup is held every April at the prestigious Lake Nona or Isleworth Golf and Country Club. He went on to spend 22 seasons as a member of the coaching staff. He started his coaching career in 1983 as a graduate assistant, quickly moving thru the ranks and becoming UCF’s recruiting coordinator. During his eight years as the recruiting coordinator, he aided the program’s transition from Division II through I-AA and into I-A status. He was named assistant head coach in 1998 and took over as interim Alan Gooch has head coach at the end of the 2003 season.
