The University of Kansas offers two degrees in school psychology, the Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. The Ed.S. and Ph.D. programs are approved/accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education/Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (NCATE/CAEP), and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE). The doctoral program is also accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Please be aware that all application materials must be submitted electronically no later than December 15th for review by the admissions committee for summer or fall enrollment. You are strongly encouraged to review fellowship and scholarship deadlines very carefully. Many fellowship and scholarship committees require a complete application portfolio in January and February.
