Brief Profile of Dr. D.V. Singh Dr. D. V. Singh, Ph.D., serves as a professor of Entomology , Co-ordinator of Experiential Learning Programme and Officer In Charge,F.D.R,U at S.V.P.U.A. &T.,Meerut . Dr. Singh received Ph.D. in Zoology in 1998 from Lucknow University, Lucknow. He has been involved with I.P.M.in vegetables development for about 15 years. Dr. Singh has helped secure funding of over 1.0 crore at S.V.P.U,A&T,,Meerut through projects. His recent research involves field of management of insect pest in mango in collaboration with Premier Institute N.C.I.P.M,I.C.A.R, ,New Delhi. Dr. Singh has Published over 60 research papers in peer reviewed journals, one Introductory Entomology laboratory manual eight training manuals and several book chapters. Dr. Singh has made over 42 scientific presentations at scientific meetings and delivered many seminars . Dr. Singh established the F.D.R.U. at S.V.P.U.A.&T. in 2007 and helped to train many farmers and undergraduate students in last two decades.
