Drive up by car on TransBucegi road at Cabana Pestera. 2. On the road you can stop at the Bolboci Lake. 3. Drive further to Cabana Pestera and park here the car. The rest is for hiking by foot. NOTE! Keep driving on the asphalt road. There are 2 ways, the best is on asphalt, the other is not good. At Cabana Pestera : - Visit the Cave (rain jacket is recommended, 10 Celsius degree inside and wet) - Posibilities for Rock Climbing in the area (some arrangement with a local trainer is needed in advance.) - Picnic on the grass, nearby the river , or at Padina chalet - Also there is a telecabina that goes up to Babele and Sfinx Day 5 – MOUNTAIN HIKING Acces Link Busteni – Babele – The Cross – Babele - Busteni Estimated – 1,5 hours hiking ; Plus waiting inline to the telecable (lots of people during summer vacation) Difficulty: Easy 1. Turn right on the main road, on a bridge. Park the car. 45 min hiking, on yellow mark, to the spectacular waterfall 7 Scari ( 7 Stairs) - Climb the stairs through the falling water. - Small access fee is required to get through the falling water (10 Ron, approx. 2,5 Euro) - When returning to the car, the courageous can take the tiroliana instead of walking down.
