For many years, Adesanmi was a regular columnist for premium times and Sahara Reporters. His writings were often satirical, focusing on the absurdity of the Nigerian social and political system. His goals were often politicians, pastors and other relevant public figures. In September 2015, his scathing column about Emir Ciano Ammydo Sanusi's decision to take an underage wife substantive conversation on the subject, and even received a reply from the emir, who answered Adesanmi by name.
