Renovation work was done in the facility in the summer of 2004 as new chairback seats and bleachers were installed on the floor level of the arena. The new seating was made possible thanks to a donation by Norman and the late Armin Tucker, twin brothers who graduated from the Missouri School of Mines in 1940 and strong supporters of athletics at Missouri S&T. Jackling Gym served as the previous home of Miner basketball, until 1966 when it was razed to build a new library on the Missouri S&T campus. The 73rd M-P BUILDING BULLMAN Missouri General Assembly appropriated $2.4 million towards the construction of a new 78,000 square foot athletic facility on the campus, and in 1969 the Bullman Multi-Purpose Building Facts University of Missouri-Rolla Multi-Purpose Building opened.
