Her first album, I Gotta Make It, was released in 2005 through Atlantic Records. Her follow-up album, Trey Day, spawned her first 20 singles, No Help but Wait. Songz released his third album Siap in 2009 and the single from the album, Say Aah, peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it Songz's first 10 hits. [3] He was the son of April (Gholson) Tucker, who was seventeen at birth, and Claude Neverson Jr.[4] Raised as a military brat by his mother and stepfather,[5] Songz had no aspirations for a music career as a child because of his shame, saying Singing was not a reality to me, until others began to feel good. After promotion for her first performance, she was shown on the lead single from Twista's fifth album, The Day After. The third single from the album, I Invented Sex, featuring Drake, was released in October 2009 and reached #42 on the Hot 100 but #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart, became his first single to top the charts. The fifth and final single from the album, Jiran Tahu Nama Saya, was released in February 2010 and reached #43 on the Hot 100 and #4 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop song.
