Narrative Description Summary The Hamm Building is an excellent example of the Commercial Style and has retained its character to the present day with minor alterations. Prominently located in Saint Paul, Minnesota on St. Peter Street between Sixth Street and Seventh Place, the building is constructed of a steel frame faced in highly decorative, molded terra cotta structural tile covered with pulsichrome, a glaze developed for use on the Hamm Building.
