Her idyllic climate and friendly seas make this country an ideal destination for yachting and water sports of all kinds. The Greek Marinas Association (G.M.A.) was established in 2010 in order to represent, Kavala upgrade and promote the tourist ports and marina facilities throughout the country. THESSALONIKI GMA membership includes 77% of the total regional berthing capacity, having as Alexandroupoli members both public and private, well organized marinas that focus on Quality, Safety and customer satisfaction. GMA’s main mission is the change and improvement of the CHALKIDIKI THASSOS national context of development, operation and exploitation of tourist ports. SAMOTHRAKI Greek marinas are the essential infrastructure for the yachting networks and the key factor for Sea Tourism development in Greece. Vathi 4 Messolonghi The Marina is fully organised, offering facilities and services of high standards. The total capacity is 1235 berths, on both permanent and floating pontoons, while there are dry dock facilities for CEPHALONIA approximately 520 boats. Moorings are available for boats up to 80 meters long and with 5.5 meters Argostoli draught. The marina offers a full range of technical boat services. There are a 65-ton travelift, a 45-ton and a Killini 20-ton mobile automatic cranes to facilitate the manœuvre of boats in and out of the water. In addition a smaller 5-ton crane and a boat transporter are available. ZANTE The marina is awarded with the BLUE FLAG every year since 2007.
