2020 SPRING/SUMMER PROGRAM GUIDE FOND DU LAC FAMILY YMCA FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT® FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY LEARN, GROW &THRIVE AT THEY APRIL THROUGH AUGUST Registration for Members begins Tuesday, March 10th | Community Participants begins Tuesday, March 17th A LATE FEE OF $5.00 PER PROGRAM SESSION WILL BE ADDED AFTER EARLY REGISTRATION DATES. HELPING OUR COMMUNITY GROW Greetings YMCA Members and Supporters, Each year, the Fond du Lac Family YMCA is committed to improving the entire well-being of everyone in our community. Whether that is through youth development programs, healthy living programs, or community partnerships, your Y continues to transform the health and well-being of individuals within our community. Last year the Y provided over $600,000 of community value to the Fond du Lac area community. You might be wondering what is all included in the “value” the Y offers the community? We strive to provide as much “Access to All” to strengthen and improve the health of our neighbors, offering everyone the ability to learn, grow and thrive through our programs and services. The value offered is through opportunities we make available such as membership scholarships, program scholarships, healthy living referral programs, the LiveSTRONG at the YMCA program, water safety programs, free swim lessons for YMCA Child Care and Boys and Girls Club children, affordable Child Care, partnerships with local businesses, non-profits, group homes, and so many others. These opportunities are dependent upon the financial support we receive through our Annual Campaign. At the Fond du Lac Family YMCA, we view this impact on our community as our responsibility. Few organizations are positioned to connect with so many people in so many ways, to meet the needs of the community. Our commitment to a healthier community drives our need to collaborate with organizations and individuals to give our community the support it needs. It is our hope that you are proud to be a Y member for these reasons. Your Y membership is the good you do for you, and we will continue to support you in that journey. A donation to the Y is the good you do for others, in the ways listed above. Every dollar donated helps remove financial barriers to access and inclusion in our programs and activities, so the Y can be a place for all. As we look forward to many new opportunities we will have to impact our community this year, we thank you for your continued commitment to our YMCA. With your help, we can help our community grow, thrive and transform.
