As a Club we enjoyed the fruits of a great team effort and I thank all of the Committee, players and supporters for their contribution to our Club for the 2014/15 season. The season saw us welcome the Lionesses. The girls embraced the Club and provided a great contribution at all levels. For a strong sustainable Club in the longer term, the girls form a vital part of our future plans and we look forward to continued success for our ladies teams. The girls had a high level of representation at state level and they started their trophy collection as the T20 champions for the 2014/15 season. Our juniors worked hard to achieve success in the current year and there were many outstanding performances. The Cubs are the future of our club and by the talent emerging through, we are in safe hands. Many of our boys were selected in WACA squads and in junior state teams and we were very unlucky not to add to our junior premiership trophy cabinet in the current season. Thanks to all involved and a special mention to Ruth McKenzie for her enormous effort. Our coaching staff provided our players with guidance and support and worked hard to optimise each players and teams performance. Noel Knight, Ken Lilly, Kim Hughes and John Stoykovski, the Club thanks you for your great contribution and to our brilliant net captain Frank Collins, well done on keeping the lads well organised during the season. The financial management of the Club has been in the safe hands of Jane O’Brien and with the match day facilities controlled by Keith Blake, the players have enjoyed the best facilities in Perth and I thank both of them for their enormous contribution. We have continued to enjoy great wickets and Scott and Bruce McLean worked tirelessly to accommodate all of the needs of the Club and we thank them for their professionalism and consistency of performance throughout the year. Our skippers worked hard to achieve success for the Club and to develop our talent. It is often a thankless task and tests your character and friendships. Well done to Chris, Emmerson, Brenton, Gianni, Emma and Lizzy. The privilege and memories of leading your teams will remain with you for the rest of your lives. After 20 years of contribution to the Club, it was a great privilege
