It was a Contemporary Christian label run by Billy Ray Hearn. Most of Sparrow’s children’s records were relegated to Birdwing, but there is a good representation of their top artists, also. It was distributed to Christian stores and radio stations by Sparrow, and to secular markets by MCA (see Sparrow discography).
