Each equipment shall be CE marked, 98/79/EEC, or FDA approved for medical laboratory use. The Bidders or each Manufacturer shall be ISO9001 Certified. Copy of the above mentioned CE mark, 98/79/EEC, or FDA approval and ISO9001 certifications shall be included in the offer. Some of the following specifications are composed by a text and a picture, both are describing the item. In case of discordance text prevails on picture. The pictures have to be intended as representations of the technological level, the design quality and the construction specifications of the items and not referring to specific commercial brands and models. An offered item shall be compliant to the text technical specifications and to the technological level, the design quality and the construction specifications displayed in the pictures. In some case a Reference Producer and Model have been indicated to better define the specifications. Texts and pictures prevail on Reference Model. Any model technically equivalent to the Reference one will be accepted. The above, quantities are indicative and not exhaustive requirements. Operational characteristics 5) LCD/TFT screen. 6) Sample no greater than 50 μL. 7) Convection or water cooled laser technology. 8) Measure of CD4, absolute and percentage, CD3 and CD8 within at least the following ranges: a) CD4+: 100 to 2,000 cells/μL; b) CD3+: 200 to 3,000 cells/μL. c) CD8+: 200 to 1,500 cells/μL; 9) CD4 counting precision with variation no greater than 10% for sample with CD4 > 200 cells/μL. 10) Fluid reservoir. 11) Measuring time not greater than 4 minutes. 12) Mean time between 2 analyses no greater than 3 minutes. 13) Capacity of at least 20 samples/hour.
