The collections of the Austin History Center contain valuable research materials that document oral histories pertinent to Austin's history and culture. The materials in this subject guide are arranged by alphabetically by subject title. Within each subject title, items are arranged alphabetically by last name of interviewee. Although not a complete listing of all of the collection's subject matter, the following subject guide provides a valuable starting point for research and discovery. Guests may request recordings by providing Austin History Center staff with the desired item numbers. All of the recordings listed are available to the public for listening inside the reading room, though additional time may be required to prepare items that are exclusively in a reel-to-reel format.
