Multiply this number by 0.25%; add 2%. The result is your discount. Thus the small number of people who have received all 50 catalogues since 1989 get (50 x 0.25 + 2)% = 14.5%, while those who started at Catalogue 40 get (11 x 0.25 + 2)% = 4.75%.
