As you read in the Spring/May – 2020 edion of the Reflecons, the Board of Directors, made a difficult decision and unanimously voted to cancel the Annual Meeng of the Lakewood Shores Property Owners Associaon. In accordance with the POA by-laws, three posions on the Board of Directors are up for elecon this June. Please be sure to return your completed ballot to the POA office as stated in the instrucons included with the May newsleer. Results of the elecon will be posted on our web site and included in future edions of the News Leer. We are faced with some difficult mes and decisions right now and I am confident that while things may look differently in the future, we will connue to work together for the good of the associaon. Guest passes can be obtained from security when the office is closed, the member will need to provide your current membership card to have one issued from security. Your help and compliance are appreciated. IMPORTANT ARCHITECTURAL REMINDER! Please remember that all members of the Lakewood Shores Property Owners Association are required to attain a permit from the Association before starting construction of a home, an addition, an accessory structure, fences, or decks etc. The purpose of our Association standards is to preserve the aesthetic harmony and quality of construction within Lakewood Shores by requiring certain materials and standards of construction. Adherence to the standards by all members also helps to preserve the value of your investment. The Architectural Committee meets twice each month to consider any plans that have been submitted. All authorized construction should be clearly posted. Security has also been asked to check all new construction for permits. Please also be aware the yard signs of an advertising nature are allowed during construction only. If your construction time has expired, please remove the sign or have your contractor remove it.
