Over the past 10 years, the 4th of July Holiday (0.31) had the highest rate of drunk driving deaths while the Christmas Holiday (0.00) had the lowest rate. In 2016, the Easter and Pioneer Day (0.5) Holidays had the highest death rates per day while Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas had no drunk driving deaths. Note: Because of the differing lengths of holidays, the rate per day is provided and should be used for comparisons.
