We were very sad to hear the news that Mahbub Husain passed away at the beginning of the summer after his battle with cancer. Mahbub worked for the ANC as an Afterschool teacher with the 1-5th grades between 2001 and 2007. He had a magical affect on every aspect of the Afterschool, from his relationships with chil- dren, staff, and parents to his unique activities.
