The fun begins at 7:00 p.m. with New York Rangers Legend and Enforcer Colton Orr, who will mingle with fans, sign autographs and cheer the Rangers on as they face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Previous New York Rangers hosts over the years have included legendary goaltender Mike Richter, Adam Graves, Steve Vickers, Nick Fotiu and others. Colton Orr, during his four seasons with the New York Rangers from 2005-2009, was known as an enforcer, for his physical game play and for his passionate spirit. Especially known more for his “five minutes for fighting,” Orr was exciting to watch whenever he was out on the ice. This viewing party will be held inside Alley 810 (all others usually held inside Dan Rooney’s Sports Pub) and is FREE for all to attend. Joining Orr for the festivities will be the Rangers Blue Crew, who will put fans to the test with Rangers trivia and offer an array of Rangers swag as giveaways during each intermission. The December 10th event is the second of several viewing parties planned during this NHL season, all of which are hosted by former New York Rangers.
