Charles Darwin His story Charles Darwin childhood He was born on the 12th February 1809. He went to Christ's college Cambridge. And after that he went to Edinburgh university. His family Children-Anne Darwin,Francis Darwin, George Darwin and 5 others. Siblings,Erasmus Darwin,Emily Darwin, Marianne Darwin,Susan Darwin, Caroline Darwin. Charles Darwins Mum and Dad His mum was Susannah Darwin. His dad was Robert Darwin. His School. Charles Darwin studied to be a scientist at Edinburgh university,Scotland. His fathers support. Charles Darwin’s Father supported him during his voyages at sea. This is Charles Darwin's dad.- And the one on the right is Charles Darwin. HMS Beagle HMS Beagle was Charles Darwin’s ship that he sailed the ocean with. It set sail on 22th May 1826 on her first voyage from Plymouth. A map of where he went on the sea. Charles Darwin went across the sea to prove his theory of evolution was right. Here is a map of where he went. His journey across the sea. His first voyage was to Madagascar This is a map of Madagascar - The Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos islands are where Charles Darwin struck gold in his quest to prove that his theory of evolution was right. Charles Darwins finches and plants. On his trip to the Galapagos islands he discovered that some of the birds have different sizes and all the plants were different so that proves that he has discovered evolution. Evolution his theory. Darwin called this evolution which has happened to birds,plants and even human beings. It means that somthing little happens over millions of years or in a couple eg.big nose small ears. Origin of Species. Charles Darwin and Alfred Wallace had the same idea about evolution so they formed a team and wrote the book, Origin of Species.Charles Darwin published the book in 1859. His book’s His book was called the origin of species. And he did another book called the tree of life. 10 pound note Charles Darwin appears on the back of a 10 pound note like this one here.
