Several claimed the title, including Bob Fitzsimmons and NY "commission" champion, Bob Moha. Jack Dillon became the "man" with his wins over Hugo Kelly, Levinsky , and Moha. Nichols lost to Lou Scozza, and Rosenbloom defeated Scozza in July 1932 for the undisputed title.
