Bashir is wanted by the International Criminal Court on charges of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. In response to this, we at the Cinema for Peace Foundation would like to invite you to an emergency screening in New York of the film "The Devil Came on Horseback" to raise awareness of the atrocities in Sudan together with Cultural Project & Enough Project on occasion of the UN General Assembly. The Screening is taking place at the Screening Room of Magno Review Theaters (729 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019) on Thursday, September 26 at 2pm. Since its' premiere in 2002, the Cinema for Peace initiative has successfully raised awareness of current global social, political and humanitarian issues using the medium of film , by partnering with the international film community as well as influential people in media, politics, business and society.
