In some areas, landowners may seek to meet stormwater infiltration performance standards or meet local stormwater ordinances. If you already know the size you want your rain garden to be, then skip ahead to the section about building the rain garden. However, take time to read the pointers about location, and make sure to find the slope of the lawn.
