KHAO CHAE A classic summer dish, Khao Chae can be translated into “water-soaked rice”, and comprises jasmine rice, jasmine-scented water, and ice. This simple dish is served with a variety of side dishes and is considered by many to be Royal Thai Cuisine. LARB GAI The direct translation of this popular dish is, “Fortune Chicken”, and is served as a gesture to wish guests good fortune in the coming year. TOONG TONG The literal translation is “moneybags”, and these deep-fried morsels of meat and vegetables are eaten with a housemade peanut sauce. FOY THONG Made from strands of sweetened egg yolk, Foy Thong is symbolic of fortune and everlasting love, and is commonly served at weddings. KANOM CHAM A jelly layer cake made with coconut milk, this popular dessert is loved by many, and represents continual success in your career.
