Held in the Visitor Center Pavilion, conveniently located behind the Suffolk Visitor Center at the corner of Main Street and Constance Road, the Market will operate rain or shine on Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m., Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, contact the Visitor’s Center at 514-4130. SATURDAY, September 22 Randall Bramblett and Friends in Concert Singer/Songwriter Randall Bramblett is legendary in music circles for his songwriting and musicianship. He's toured with Bonnie Raitt, Allman Brothers Band, Levon Helm, Steve Winwood, Traffic, Delbert McClinton, and others. Hear him perform original songs, backed by Hampton Roads' finest musicians, Jimmy Masters, John Toomey, Julie Clark, Larry Berwald, and Tray Eppes. All proceeds benefit Tidewater Arts Outreach. The performance will be held at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, 110 West Finney Avenue. For more information, call 757-923-0003. SUNDAY, September 23 “See Us in September" Adopt-A-Thon Summer is ending and it is back to school for many, but many homeless pets hope people will plan to “See Them in September” at an Adopt-A-Thon sponsored by the Suffolk Humane Society and Suffolk Animal Care. The adoption event will be on September 23 at the adoption center at the North Suffolk PetSmart store, 6243 College Drive, from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Suffolk Humane Society volunteers will be available to talk with you about their organization and the adoptable animals at Suffolk Animal Control.
