Resolution of Adoption……………………………………………………………….G-1 iii EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Park County and the municipalities of Cody, Meeteetse, and Powell developed and adopted a Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan in 2006. This plan revises and updates that original plan. This revision was prepared by the Park County Office of Homeland Security with the assistance of contractor, Beck Consulting. The content of the plan relies on the advice and guidance of the Local Emergency Planning Committee, elected officials, local government staff, a local planning team formed for this purpose, and members of the public. This revision was unusual because of the high level of direct involvement of the local jurisdictions’ elected officials. Information was available about the project through coverage by the Cody Enterprise, the Powell Tribune, and the Park County Office of Homeland Security. The draft plan was made available at city/town and county offices, the three public libraries, and online,
