Festival of Motorcycling Road Races 2019 ROADS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC Notice is given that the Festival of Motorcycling (FOM) Road Races Authorisation 2019 will permit the organiser (Manx Motor Cycle Club Ltd) to hold practices, races and parades in relation to the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT during the FOM period. 1. A18 MOUNTAIN ROAD The Mountain Road will be open to TWO-WAY traffic during the Festival. 2. DELAYED AND POSTPONED RACES 6. TT ACCESS ROAD TO THE INSIDE OF THE COURSE In the event of adverse weather conditions etc. the start of any race, including a Restricted vehicular access to the inside of the course, including Noble’s Hospital, parade, may be delayed. will be maintained for cars and small vans below 3,500kg and under 3.35m in height. This is available via the A5 New Castletown Road near its junction with 4. Notification of delayed and postponed closures will be given in the Quarterbridge roundabout. The Access Road is narrow with passing places and so news bulletins on local radio. traffic is controlled. Pedestrian access on the TT Access Road is prohibited for safety reasons. CROSSING PLACES AND ACCESS CORRIDORS The TT course will be re-opened to the public when an official motor vehicle displaying a notice “Roads Open” has passed along that part of the course.
