Carlos Flores dos Santos TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS Origin: Cima Corgo sub region Varieties: Mainly Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca , Tinta Roriz and Mourisco Tinto Winemaking: Hole grape clusters, one day of maceration prior to fermentation. Two days of fermentation in cement tanks. Fortifying wine at 8º Baumé Aging: 100% oxidative. Four years in Tuns and six to seven years in old oak barrels. TASTING NOTES Colour: Blond colour, with brick colour reflects. Aroma: Complex, dry fruits aroma, dry figs and very ripe fruit. Taste: Involving and fullbodied, with delicate aromas showing very good evolution. Final taste: Very long, complex and elegant.
