Home 9-13 Road 12-12 Hjelle Debuts: Sean Hjelle is slated to make his California League debut in tonight’s game. Hjelle vs. North 11-17 joined the Giants from Class-A Augusta last Monday. In nine starts for the GreenJackets, the right- vs. South 10-8 hander was 1-2 with a 2.66 ERA. He struck out 44 batters compared to just nine walks in 40 2/3 vs. Visalia 2-7 innings. Hjelle was a second round pick of the San Francisco Giants in the 2018 draft (45th overall First Half 21-25 selection) out of the University of Kentucky. He’s currently rated the #6 prospect in the SF Second Half 0-0 organization by MLB.com. Hjelle becomes the 29th pitcher to see action for the Giants this season.
